How to make baked donuts with chocolate glaze
These gluten free donuts with chocolate glaze are so easy to make. A beginner cook could make it – I promise! This recipe makes eight fluffy, full-size donuts or 12 moist mini donuts.
Step 1: To begin, preheat your oven to 350°F and generously grease a regular or mini donut pan.
Step 2: Next, in a large mixing bowl, whisk eggs and Greek yogurt until fully combined. Then add in the almond milk, coconut sugar, vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
Step 3: After that, add in the almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Step 4: Then, spoon the batter evenly into the greased donut mold, making 8 – 12 donuts depending on the size of your pan. Make sure the batter fills the donut molds to the center but does not cover the center.
Step 5: Bake for 15 – 18 minutes if using a regular pan or 11 -13 minutes if using a mini pan. Remove from the oven when the donuts are golden brown, and toothpick comes out clean.
Step 6: Now, let the donuts sit 5 – 10 minutes before removing them from the pan and letting them cool on a wire rack.
Step 7: Meanwhile, in a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil until in 20-second intervals, so you do not burn the chocolate. Whisk in the maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract (note: can add 1 – 2 more teaspoons of almond milk until desired consistency).
Step 8: Finally, dip each cooled donut into the frosting and add as many colorful sprinkles as you want.

Wondering what non dairy item I can sub for the Greek yogurt ?
Tati Chermayeff says
Hey – I would try dairy-free yogurt (like coconut yogurt) or even use Almond Milk. Cannot promise results, but I have found in my other recipes this works well. Please let me know if you try!
