Peanut butter and jelly french toast sticks

Who else was obsessed with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as a kid? I sure was! I am not exaggerating when I say I had one every single day of high school. Not sure how I didn’t get sick of them honestly.

So clearly, I love a good peanut butter & jelly sandwich. And why not try to combine it with french toast, a delicious and classic breakfast staple. These bad boys are crisp on the outside and creamy on this inside. They practically melt in your mouth.

It’s really simple. You do not need anything fancy and you probably have everything you need to make this already in your kitchen.

    • Bread – my personal favorite is Dave’s Killer Bread good seed; however, any bread will work and taste amazing!
    • Peanut butter
    • Frozen raspberries – this is part of my homemade jam trick! Read below for more info.
    • Almond milk
    • Ground cinnamon
    • Vanilla extract

How to make my famous healthy homemade jam?

I am obsessed with making homemade jam. It is so simple and only calls for one ingredient: the frozen berry of your choice! Here I used frozen raspberries, but this seriously works with with any type.

All you have to do is place the frozen raspberries into a small microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 20 – 30 seconds, or until defrosted. The perfect, healthy, and simple jam!

You can even add some maple syrup or honey on top if you are craving that extra sweetness. Seriously, these are delicious!
