The best 3-ingredient rich and creamy espresso martini recipe made with Baileys Irish cream, vodka, and espresso. The perfect post-dinner cocktail! No Kahlua, simple syrup, or rum is needed.
1.5ozBaileys Original Irish Cream, or any Irish cream
1ozespresso, freshly brewed is my favorite
½ - 1cupsice, for shaking only
Garnish: 3 coffee beans
Instructions
Add the vodka, Baileys Irish cream, and espresso to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and vigorously shake until well-chilled and a foam layer is formed. I used this to measure the ingredients.
Strain into a martini glass. You can chill the glass if desired.
Garnish with 3 coffee beans. Enjoy!
Notes
Irish Cream: You can use any type of Irish cream for this espresso martini recipe. I love Baileys original or their espresso creme flavor. However, feel free to use one of these brands instead: Kerrygold, Coole Swan, Saint Brendan’s, or Five Farms.Decaf: You can also use decaf espresso or coffee if you would like to enjoy this espresso martini without caffeine. No Cocktail Shaker: You can use a sealable mason jar filled with ice or a water bottle.Instant Coffee: NO! Don't use it! The flavor will not be the same. Espresso: For the best coffee flavor, I recommend using espresso. However, you can certainly use brewed coffee instead. Don’t use instant coffee!
