Air Fryer Bagel Bites

These easy 5-minute air fryer bagel bites are made with just three ingredients: mini bagels, pasta sauce, and shredded cheese. Add any toppings you want to these cheesy and crispy mini pizza bagels. The perfect lunch, dinner, appetizer, or snack!

Ingredients
 

  • 4 plain mini bagels, cut in half
  • cup marinara, tomato, or pizza sauce
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella, more if desired
  • Optional toppings: mini pepperonis or regular-sized ones cut in half, cooked chicken sausage, shredded chicken (cooked), cooked ground beef, pineapple, ham, peppers, mushrooms, chopped deli turkey, olives, cherry tomatoes, banana peppers, etc.

Instructions

  • Cut your mini bagels in half, then spread a spoonful of marinara sauce on top of each bagel.
  • Evenly sprinkle each bagel half with cheese.
  • Add any toppings you want.
  • Place the bagel halves into the air fryer basket.

  • Air fry at 380°F for 3 - 5 minutes. Every air fryer is different, so check at the 3-minute mark to ensure nothing is burning.

  • Let them cool in the air fryer basket for 1 – 2 minutes. Enjoy warm!

Check at the 3-minute mark. All air fryers are different, so make sure to check around the 3-minute mark to ensure your bagel bite pizzas are not burning.
Tomato Sauce: I like marinara, vodka, arrabiata, or pizza sauce. You can even substitute the red sauce for alfredo to make this a white pizza or pesto (I love this 5-minute nut-free pesto recipe).
Cheese: I love mozzarella, but you can also use your favorite shredded cheese. I recommend cheddar, swiss, Mexican blend, or Italian 4 Cheese.
Regular-Sized Bagels: You can use a regular-sized bagel instead of mini bagels for this recipe; however, the cooking time will increase. Grab one regular-sized bagel, add 2 – 3 tablespoons of sauce to each bagel half, sprinkle cheese on top, then air fryer for 5 – 8 minutes. I recommend checking at the 5-minute mark since all air fryers are different and may cook yours faster or slower.
Dairy-Free: You can make these air fryer bagel bites dairy-free by swapping the shredded mozzarella cheese with your favorite dairy-free alternative. There are many kinds of vegan shredded cheese.
Gluten-Free: Feel free to use your favorite gluten-free mini bagels.
