These caramelized air fryer peaches taste like warm peach cobbler made without refined sugar, in just 15 minutes with 5 ingredients. The maple syrup and coconut sugar create a sticky-sweet glaze you'll want to eat with a spoon.
Serving Ideas: vanilla ice cream (dairy-free or regular), Greek yogurt, whipped cream, granola, crushed graham crackers, walnuts or pecans
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C).
Prep the peaches — wash, dry, and cut in half lengthwise. Remove the pits.
Make the glaze — in a small bowl mix the maple syrup, coconut sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
Load the basket — line with parchment paper, brush melted butter onto the cut side of each peach half, and place cut side down in a single layer. Do not overlap.
First cook — air fry at 330°F (165°C) for 6 minutes.
Flip and glaze — using tongs, carefully flip the peaches cut side up and brush the maple syrup mixture onto the cut side.
Second cook — air fry for another 6-8 minutes until caramelized, golden, and fork tender. Edges should not be burned.
Serve — use a large spoon or spatula to transfer to a bowl or plate. Serve warm with ice cream, yogurt, honey, or granola. Enjoy!
Notes
Sweetness: Adjust the maple syrup and coconut sugar to your taste — a riper, sweeter peach needs less.Coconut sugar sub: Light or dark brown sugar works perfectly.Frozen peaches: Thaw completely and pat very dry before air frying. They release a lot of moisture. Add 2-3 minutes to the cook time.Oven option: Preheat to 350°F and bake for 15-20 minutes until soft and golden. Texture will be slightly less caramelized than the air fryer version.Storing: Cool completely then refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.Reheating: Air fryer at 330°F for 3-5 minutes is the best method. Microwave in 20-30 second intervals also works.
