As the self-proclaimed air fryer dessert queen, I had to make this recipe. My viral air fryer apples (with hundreds of five-star reviews) and air fryer pineapple are amazing, but just wait until you try air-fried peaches. They might be my favorite yet.
Peaches are my favorite Summer fruit. They’re juicy, sweet, and so delicious. You already love my healthy peach crisp and this peach cobbler pound cake, so I had to share this easy air fryer version too.
The best part? These caramelized peaches taste just like warm peach cobbler but are healthier, refined sugar free, and so easy to make in under 15 minutes.
Why you'll love this recipe:
- So delicious: These peaches are warm, gooey, and caramelized to perfection. They taste just like peach cobbler but are way easier to make.
- Quick and easy: This dessert is ready in under 15 minutes and only calls for five simple ingredients.
- Healthy dessert: Made with maple syrup and coconut sugar, these peaches are naturally sweetened and contain no refined sugar.
- Allergy friendly: This recipe is naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan, so everyone can enjoy it.
The ingredients
- Peaches: The star of the show. You’ll need two ripe but slightly firm peaches. I used yellow peaches, but white peaches work great too.
- Butter: Use salted butter, vegan butter, or even coconut oil. It helps soften the peaches while they air fry and makes the sugar stick.
- Maple syrup: Adds a sweet glaze that soaks into the peaches and makes every bite extra delicious.
- Coconut sugar: Caramelizes in the air fryer and gives the peaches a golden, slightly crunchy sugar crust.
- Cinnamon: Brings that warm, cozy flavor. These taste just like peach cobbler or a slice of peach pie.
How to make air fryer peaches
Preheat your air fryer to 330°F and let's get cooking!
Step One: Wash and dry the peaches, then slice them in half and remove the pits. Mix maple syrup, coconut sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush the melted butter on the cut side of the peaches.
Step Two: Line the bottom of your air fryer basket with parchment paper. Place the peach halves cut side down, ensuring they don’t overlap.
Step Three: Air fry at 350°F for 6 minutes. Flip the peaches carefully with tongs and brush the maple syrup mixture on the cut side.
Step Four: Air fryer for another 6 - 8 minutes until caramelized and fork tender. They shouldn't have burned edges! They should be golden.
Serve your air fryer peaches warm with your favorite toppings like ice cream, yogurt, or granola. Enjoy!
Top Tips
- Choose ripe peaches: Look for peaches that are ripe but still firm. This will help them hold their shape and stay juicy during cooking.
- Adjust sweetness: Customize the sweetness by adjusting the sugar or maple syrup to your liking. Taste the mixture before brushing it on the peaches to get the perfect balance.
- Flip gently: When flipping the peaches halfway through, be gentle. Their flesh can be delicate, so use tongs carefully to avoid any breakage.
- Frozen peaches option: Fresh peaches are ideal, but frozen ones work well, especially when fresh peaches are out of season. Just make sure to thaw them completely and pat them dry to remove excess moisture before air frying. You may need to adjust the cooking time slightly.

📖 Recipe
Air Fryer Peaches
Ingredients
- 2 peaches, ripe but slightly firm
- 1 tablespoon butter or vegan butter, melted
- 1 - 2 tablespoon maple syrup, depending on your desired sweetness level
- 1 tablespoon coconut sugar or brown sugar
- ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of flakey sea salt
- Serving Ideas: vanilla ice cream (dairy-free or regular), Greek yogurt, whipped cream, granola, crushed graham crackers, walnuts or pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C).
- Wash and dry the peaches, then cut them in half lengthwise and remove the pits.
- In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, sugar, and cinnamon. Set the mixture aside.
- Carefully line the bottom of your air fryer basket with parchment paper. Then, brush the melted butter onto the cut side of the peach halves and place the peach halves cut side down (skin-side up) in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
- Air fry the peaches for 6 minutes.
- Using tongs, carefully flip the peaches over. Brush the maple sugar mixture onto the cut side of the peaches.
- Continue air frying for another 6-8 minutes until the peaches are caramelized, fork-tender, and golden. Avoid letting the edges burn.
- The peaches will be soft, so I like to use a big spoon or spatula to place them in a bowl or on a serving plate. Serve warm with ice cream, honey, yogurt, and/or a sprinkle of your favorite granola. Enjoy!
